Apache Tears are a natural, compressed form of Obsidian, found in Arizona. Legend says that when an Apache band was driven over a cliff by the cavalry, they screamed out the name "Geronimo" crashing to their deaths, horses and all. Mother Earth felt the sadness and grief of the surviving women and their families so much that she turned their tears into these stones. They are superb for "shedding our tears for us" so that we may gain greater insight and acceptance of our loss, and can promote forgiveness and a release of any grudges being held.
