Apache Tear Obsidian Generator Crystal Silver Spiral Pendant

Recently acquired from an old "surprise" stash, this generator point has been hand- cut and polished to perfection. It has been gracefully encircled with Sterling Silver in our Sacred Spiral design and measures 1x1/4" including the bail. Obsidian is a wonderful stone for protection and for shielding one from negative energies. An Apache Tear is a natural, compressed (and somewhat spherical) form of Obsidian, found in Arizona. Legend says that when an Apache band was driven over a cliff by the cavalry, they screamed out the name "Geronimo" crashing to their deaths, horses and all. Mother Earth felt the sadness and grief of the surviving women and their families so much that she turned their tears into these stones. They are superb for "shedding our tears for us" so that we may gain greater insight and acceptance of our loss, and can promote forgiveness and a release of any grudges being held.
