Pictured here we see this gorgeous Louisiana Black Opal wire art pendant, handsomely set with Sterling Silver wire. This Opal from Louisiana is a Quartzite Opal and is somewhat rare these days. The mine has been closed over 25 years, and most of what now remains is in the hands of private collectors. This gorgeous Opal has been hand-polished and exhibits beautiful flashes of purple and green fire and is elegantly set in a lovely Silver design. It measures 1 1/2x9/16" including the bail, and will make a fine addition to your collection of natural Opal jewelry.
